No, I've not heard of any plans for a Pippi movie. I'm just curious to hear your thoughts.
Do you think a new Pippi should be made? Would it be cool to see something new? Should they not because they could mess up that which we already love?
Perhaps an indie film would be better than a bloated Hollywood film?

To me there will always be only one pippi- the original- buuut now that years have passed- I too would like a new generation of girls to experience the pippi phenomenon- sooo I vote for remake as long as it closely follows the original characters (ha!)
fingers crossed, and ahem- I want to see that independant pippi film:)
